This is one of the very best analogue recordings. Again with clean, clear, detailed dynamics: excellent bass clarity.

RAVEL Orchestral Works / Piano.Jos van Immerseel Cond. ANIMA ETERNA / Claire Chevallier Piano. Erard 1905. ZigZag Territories ZZT060901.
In the recording of the concerto the beginning is ppp with a lot of low bass instruments. Reproducing the different pitch and textures of six bass instruments playing this quietly is quite a test.

SIBELIUS  Lemminkainen Suite. EMI 3 88679 2.

The Philadelphia Orchestra and Ormandy at their best. The string sound is beautiful and there is bass in this recording. An Analogue Great.

DEBUSSY ORCHESTRAL WORKS. Philips 464 697 2 [ADD] a 24 bit transfer, or 438 742 2 Bernard Haitink, Cond. Concertgebouw Orch.

La Mer has a fabulous stage and layering of detail. This recording requires very good low level bass resolution.

BRUCKNER. SYMPHONY NO 9. Reference Recordings HDCD RR 81 CD. Stanislaw Skrowaczewski Cond. Minnasota Orch.

This is an excellent recording with a fabulous stage and fabulous depth of colour.
